Turner Facilities Management has established a new contracting division; Turner GCMS at Camp Bastion in Afghanistan in order to provide quality Mechanical & Electrical, Generator Sales & Rental and Small New Works Services.  The new division is currently in the mobilisation phase and it is anticipated that it will be fully operational by mid April 2010.

The full range of services that Turner GCMS will provide includes but, is not limited to:

• Electrical Installation and Testing to 17th Edition (BS7671)
• HVAC
• Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
• Diesel Power Generator Sales, Rental and Maintenance
• Small New Works including; General Building, Joinery and Plumbing

The GCMS brand is not a new one; it was first used very successfully by the company in the Falkland Islands and Ascension Island in the late eighties and again in Gibraltar in 2005. 

The GCMS brand is well known to the Ministry of Defence for providing a reliable quality service in remote difficult locations and Afghanistan will be no exception.
