Safespan Europe

Safespan® is a unique, patented rigid working platform and shielding system.  This simple yet effective cable-suspended system was designed by bridge maintenance contractors experienced in refurbishment demands.

Initially used on successful refurbishment projects on New York’s George Washington Bridge and San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, it has since proven itself repeatedly as a fully versatile bridge access solution in Europe. Most recently, Safespan® was used in the first European application to provide under-bridge access: the £85m bridge strengthening project on the Tinsley Viaduct, Sheffield, UK. 

The Safespan® system is complemented by PlusEight® for use on stairs and other vertical access solutions.
